Creating and maintaining a vibrant Main Street where businesses can thrive is a collective effort. By working together to invest in a beautiful, clean, safe and well-maintained streetscape, the St. James Village BIZ and its member businesses foster local growth and economic stability.
While the BIZ focuses on enhancing public spaces – from bike racks to flowers and signage – business owners play a vital role by maintaining and improving their storefronts.
To encourage and support these ongoing investments, the St. James Village BIZ offers two grants to its members: a Safety & Security Grant and an Enhancement Grant.
The Safety & Security Grant supports crime prevention efforts such as security cameras and lighting.
The Enhancement Grant helps fund storefront improvements, including new signage, exterior painting, and other upgrades that boost curb appeal.
